We're looking for a hands-on product designer to help refine and complete an AI agent for independent experts. (Details will be provided during the interview process)
An MVP already exists and it is not a complicated product. I need someone who can understand the product deeply, identify gaps in UIUX, and turn unfinished or confusing flows into clear, consistent interfaces. The immediate goal is to get the product ready for meaningful customer testing and iterate based on what we learn.
You’ll work directly with the founding team. My background is in product engineering, and user research, so we’ll be discussing design decisions, design systems, and working through problems together to clear things out.
What you’ll do
- Review the existing designs and UX flow, and help prioritize what needs to be completed or improved.
- Improve navigation, user flows, and interactions.
- Using AI or Figma agent, design missing screens and essential states, including loading, empty, error, and success states.
- Refine the visual design and establish consistency across the product.
- Maintain organized Figma files and reusable components.
- Prepare designs for implementation and collaborate on reviewing the built experience.
- Iterate based on customer feedback and usability findings.
Who I’m looking for
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate design work while maintaining quality and consistency is a must.
- A product designer or UX designer with experience designing web apps or SaaS products.
- Strong UX judgment and polished UI execution.
- Someone who can explain their decisions, challenge assumptions, and suggest practical improvements.
- Fluent spoken and written English, with the ability to discuss complex product decisions comfortably on calls.
- Someone comfortable working with an early-stage product, moving quickly, and adjusting as we learn.
To apply
When you click Apply, please include:
- Portfolio URL: a link to 2–3 relevant web app or SaaS projects (your website, Behance, Dribbble, a Notion page, or a shared Figma or PDF case study). We're particularly interested in examples where you improved an existing product or helped bring an MVP to launch.
- Details: for each project, a short note on your personal contribution, plus your current location, hourly rate, weekly availability, and earliest start date.
