Rust Software Engineer - Trading Platform
The Role
We are looking for a Rust Software Engineer to build reliable trading systems and data pipelines. The ideal candidate has experience contributing to trading platforms, works well independently, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in Rust (backend)
- Experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, Route53, IAM, ALB)
- Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
- Comfortable working across backend, infrastructure, and deployment
- Fluent English, Attend on-site(Seoul)
Required Technical Skills
Trading & Finance Domain
- Experience with trading systems, order management, and market data
- Understanding of financial markets and trading concepts
Infrastructure & Security
- Knowledge of cloud networking, security groups, IAM roles, and best practices
- Experience with message queues (NATS) and databases (QuestDB, RDS, DynamoDB)
Collaboration & Communication
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Proactive in clarifying requirements and providing updates
- Comfortable collaborating directly with founder/lead developer
Scope of Work
- Co-creating and extending our OEMS platform (Rust backend, AWS infra, trading algorithms)
- Building new trading features and improving reliability
- Add new exchanges and data sources to existing systems
- Processing of data using common quantitative methods
- Identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities
- Working hands-on with Terraform and AWS resources
- Providing regular progress updates and technical feedback

- Contract Duration: 1+ year commitment
- Probation Period: 2 months
- Start Date: March 2026
- Location: Seoul, South Korea (Hybrid)
- Compensation: Competitive salary, open to discussion based on experience
