We are looking for the first team member to help us open the door to the Japanese market!
日本市場の扉を共に開く最初のメンバーを募集します!

Packative is a modern B2B SaaS solution that is transforming the traditional packaging industry.
This field, long known for being conservative and supplier-centered, is being reshaped through technology to become faster, more transparent, and more customer-friendly.
Our platform, already proven in Korea, helps companies streamline and accelerate their production and sales operations.
Through partnerships with leading Japanese companies, we are currently preparing for a soft market entry into Japan.

We are now hiring a Senior Project Manager (PM) to become a core member supporting Packative’s expansion into Japan.
In this key role, you will serve as the local point of contact, lead Proof of Concept (PoC) projects with Japanese partners, and work directly with our CEO and product team in Korea.
You will drive collaboration among stakeholders, manage cross-border project execution, and help solve challenges that arise while introducing innovation into a conservative industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PoC projects with Japanese partners (based in Korea + business travel)
  • Serve as a communication bridge between Japan and Korea
  • Coordinate stakeholders and manage change within the legacy packaging industry
  • Build the foundation for Packative Japan’s initial operations and market entry
  • Structure and report local market insights and feedback to global leadership
  • Prepare and execute the launch of Packative’s SaaS product in Japan

Qualifications

  • Residing in Korea and legally eligible to work in Korea (Required)
  • Native-level Japanese, with professional proficiency in Korean or English
  • Willingness and ability to travel to Japan
  • Senior-level PM experience (Digital Transformation project experience required)
  • Experience leading innovation in conservative/traditional industries
  • Experience with B2B SaaS (ERP/CRM experience preferred)
  • Proficiency with startup collaboration tools (Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Comfortable using AI as an innovation tool
  • High autonomy and sense of responsibility; able to work independently
  • Strong coordination and execution skills within large organizations and complex decision-making structures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Startup Mindset — Prior startup experience preferred; comfortable with uncertainty, fast-paced environments, and building structure where none exists.
  • Proactive Ownership — Acts without waiting for permission, resolves obstacles, and gets things done.
  • Extreme Clarity — Communicates quickly, systematically, and clearly. Produces clean, well-organized documents, slides, and spreadsheets.
  • Results-Oriented Execution — Measures success by outcomes, not effort. Systematizes complexity and creates impact.
  • AI-First Problem Solving — Believes in AI as a tool to transform traditional industries and uses it as a first choice, not a last resort.
  • Independent Thinking — Navigates ambiguity and moves forward without constant guidance.
  • Persistence and Follow-Through — Persuades stakeholders, finds solutions, and ensures real execution.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability — Manages across borders, time zones, and industries without losing speed or focus.
