We are creating a service that allows customers to order food together and make payments separately that begins with scanning QR codes on restaurant tables. The current market has somewhat similar methods that involve using tablets or kiosk machines that are limited to a single machine, and people place an order while looking at the screen. However, our service allows all customers at the table to share the menu in real time as they order on their smartphones, place an order, and even make payments. The ways to pay are:

• 'Pay for Mine,'
• 'It’s on me,'
• 'Split evenly,'
• 'Spin the wheel' Engaging in different ways to pay for lunch and dinner is to make customers' experience more convenient and have fun while sitting at their table.

SicPama is able to increase a restaurant’s sales by using the collected data of diners who scanned table QR codes on prior visits. Thanks to the customer dining data, SicPama's provides customized personalized services to diners, such as menu recommendations, and makes personalized marketing possible for restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing of product features that empower our business and deliver impact to our customers.
• Produce high-quality software following good architecture and design principles that are scalable.
• Write high-quality, clean, elegant, maintainable, and testable code.
• Component and Integration Testing of solutions.
• Design & deliver thoughtfully crafted APIs to drive the interactions between our client applications and backend services.
• Build product requirements based on requirements, while refactoring out common libraries for a long-term codebase.
• Mentoring skills with the ability to provide technical guidance and review code.
• Involve and proactively refine the engineering practices.

Your Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Strong desire to build solutions in an agile development environment
• 3+ years developing consumer-facing web applications
• Coding in Typescript for Node.js applications
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases like MySQL
• Understanding of caching and performance
• Experienced user of Git
• Desire for Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong experience in the design and implementation of robust and highly scalable web services
• Good at English communication verbally and written

Nice to Have

• Other languages like Kotlin, Java, Python, etc.
• Deploying applications to AWS using Ansible
• Containerization using Docker
• CI / CD pipelines using Github Actions
• Familiarity with Jira
• Experience with Automated testing including frontend tests using Solenium or Playwright
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or an equivalent
