As a Coupang Eats Merchant product manager, you will define and build product serving the hundreds of thousands of restaurants we partner with at Coupang Eats. You will communicate and cooperate with both internal and external stakeholders to create merchant experiences and tools that serve our merchant partners.

Job Overview

Coupang Eats is a service by Coupang where we deliver quality food and beverages from restaurants and cafes to your door. We have multiple domains, serving the three major customer types: Customer (consumer), Merchant (restaurants), and Delivery (couriers/riders). The Merchant Product focuses on the restaurant's experience, from the POS app and the mobile/tablet app (order management) to the web app (store management). We also build a variety of tools to handle back office functionality, for both merchant use and internal operations needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Eats Merchant product manager, you will

  • Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and KPIs of specific area(s) of the Merchant experience
  • Have a deep understanding of the Coupang Eats Merchant and provide the Voice of the Customer
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from inception to launch, including writing product requirements, defining use cases, and setting success metrics
  • Identify opportunities to improve merchant day-to-day operations, by removing any friction points in the end-to-end order management experience
  • Inspire the team with the product vision and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life
  • Work with business stakeholders to drive growth of our Customer, Merchant, and Delivery bases
  • Build a best-in-class experiences for the Windows POS app, mobile/tablet app, and website

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, including developing, delivering, and executing on a strong product vision
  • Analytical thinker who works well in a fast-paced, data-driven, and highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects
  • Bias for action and willingness to get your hands dirty to get the job done
  • Sound business judgment and proven ability to effectively communicate and influence others
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills

Preferred

  • Experience building e-commerce or vendor-serving products
  • Experience building backend/platform/data products
  • Korean/English bilingual
  • Startup experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
