As a Frontend Developer, Here’s What You’ll Own and Drive!
As a Frontend Developer at Tatum Security, you'll play a pivotal role in building Tatum’s CNAPP platform, with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Address a range of technical challenges across the frontend development lifecycle, including data visualizations, performance optimization, data accuracy testing, efficient data handling and processing, and comprehensive debugging to ensure seamless data integrity and responsiveness.
- Implement pixel-perfect styling that precisely follows design specifications provided in Figma, bringing the UI to life with accuracy and detail.
- At times, the frontend role goes beyond fundamental tasks, involving scripting, researching new technologies, and exploring innovative solutions to elevate our products.
- Conduct thorough QA to verify that developed features function as intended, upholding high standards of performance and user experience
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement across all stages, from wireframes and design to overall user experience, ensuring our products are both intuitive and engaging
Must-haves
- Experience: 3+ years of solid, professional frontend development experience (excluding personal projects or coding academy work)
- Framework Proficiency: Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js, Vue and Nuxt.js or any other major frameworks, including development and production deployment.
- Component Implementation: Ability to implement reusable and efficient components.
- API Integration: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, 3rd party libraries and experience integrating them with frontend applications.
- Performance Optimization: Proficient in memory management and performance tuning to enhance application efficiency.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Version Control: Proficient in using version control systems like Git.
- Communication and Documentation: Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to create clear development documentation.
Nice-to-haves
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in building data-driven interfaces, including dashboards and real-time monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in data visualization using libraries like D3.js, with experience in data querying using GraphQL.
- Knowledge of databases, including RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (ElasticSearch, MongoDB).
- Highly proficient in managing cloud environments with a strong understanding of cloud security principles, including hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and NCP is a big plus.
- Extensive Integration Experience: Proven experience with integrating a variety of third-party services and libraries to enhance functionality and performance, including, but not limited to:
- Authentication Protocols: Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth, LDAP
- Analytics and Tracking: Google Analytics, Segment, Mixpanel and etc
- Payment Gateways: Stripe, PayPal for secure online transactions.
- Content Management Systems (CMS): Integration with CMS platforms like Contentful or Strapi for dynamic content handling.
Tech Stack:
- Languages: Experience with at least one major framework—ReactJS, VueJS, or AngularJS.
- Core Technologies: Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and Tailwind CSS.
- Frameworks and Tools: Next.js and CI/CD pipeline including action runners.
- Databases: MongoDB, Redis
- Messaging Queue: Kafka for distributed messaging.
- Containerization and Deployment: Docker Compose and image registries (e.g., AWS ECR).
- Communication Tools: Jira, Slack.

- For experienced candidates, a reference check follows a successful interview outcome.

Type of employment
- Please note that there will be an evaluation of your performance following a set contract period (minimum of 2 months), which will determine your final onboarding status.
