ASUS Korea is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Product Manager (CPM) to oversee and drive the growth of our product lines within the South Korean market. This role is pivotal in crafting and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies, ensuring optimal market positioning, and maximizing sales performance. The CPM will collaborate cross-functionally with global product teams, marketing, sales, and key partners to ensure that ASUS products meet the unique needs of the Korean market.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute product strategies tailored to the South Korean market, aligning with ASUS’s global product roadmap.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution:
- Lead the product launch process from concept to market introduction, working with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and supply chain.
- Define product pricing strategies based on market conditions, competitive landscape, and business objectives.
- Sales Enablement:
- Provide sales teams with product knowledge and market insights to drive successful engagements with customers.
- Collaborate with channel partners and distributors to optimize product availability and ensure broad market coverage.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Analyze product performance using KPIs such as sales volumes, market share, profitability, and customer feedback.
- Implement corrective actions to improve product sales and market presence as needed.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the key liaison between the global product teams and the South Korean market, ensuring local needs and trends are communicated effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and industry influencers.
- Marketing Support:
- Partner with the marketing team to create effective campaigns and content that resonate with the local audience.
- Drive product-related events, promotions, and media exposure to build brand awareness.
Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in consumer electronics or the IT industry.
- Proven experience in managing the full product lifecycle, from development to market launch and beyond.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of the Korean consumer electronics market.
- Excellent project management abilities, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in both English and Korean, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
