[ICT] Platform Developer

We are responsible for developing and operating the fault-tolerant global private cloud by establishing the roadmap from a cloud infrastructure/platform perspective based on the global standard cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will develop various products in the infrastructure and platform areas required for cloud services.

■ Developing Cloud Infra Product

• Designing and developing in-house infrastructure/platform solutions (DNS, Object Storage, VPC, BareMetal as a Service, Load Balancer, etc.) for service delivery in cloud environment
• Establishing the standard operating procedures for infrastructure product development/operation
• Analyzing the performance of in-house cloud solutions developing (quantitative/qualitative both perspectives) and optimize them
• Analyzing and reviewing the latest technology trends to discover new infrastructure solutions

■ Developing and Operating Backend System for Cloud Platform

• Developing common services (Compute Service, Database as a Service, Monitoring Service, etc.) in cloud environments
• Developing the system which has large capacity and high availability, and applying it in global multi-region environments
• Developing platform and related services using OpenStack
• Designing optimal cloud-native service - gathering and analyzing functional requirements, reviewing all solutions Reviewing and applying new technologies related to cloud platforms

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of backend/platform developing experience
• Experience in web app development based on Spring, Spring Boot or Golang
• Experience in service development/operation on the cloud environment
• Experience in the entire process of system development from software design to distribution
• Experience in writing test code and automating distribution
• Available to join the company on the specified date upon final acceptance
• No restrictions on overseas travel (For males, military service must be completed or exempted by the company's specified start date)

Preferred Qualifications

• Majors in IT field(computer science, computer engineering, software, etc)
• Certificates related to cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, etc)
• More than 3 years of cloud computing, storage, network related experience
• Experience in developing and opaerating service from open source based software
• Experience in developing and operating Kubernetes, OpenStack
• Experience in using RDBMS (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
• Capabilities of high-performance application development (e.g. asynchronous programming)
