About the role

As a Jakga and software engineer, you will play a key role in solving complex problems that affect internet users around the world. You will have the opportunity to participate in the development of features that go beyond simple functionality to revolutionize the way people are productive on the web.

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of the entire process of developing new features, from idea to deployment and beyond
• Improve application performance and build robust solutions to complex technical problems
• Designing internal tools and systems that make your team more productive

What we're looking for

• Problem solving skills: ability to deconstruct complex problems and create solutions, working collaboratively when necessary to resolve issues
• Front-end expertise: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience with modern frameworks like React
• Backend understanding: You understand how the backend ecosystem works and have experience with databases like MySQL
• Business minded: You make engineering decisions by considering how what you build will impact business growth and goals
• User-centered approach: You take a deep look at the ethical and real-world impact of your work
• Technology flexibility: You're not tied to a specific tool and are ready to learn new technologies as needed
• Empathetic communication: Able to express ideas clearly and nuanced, thoughtfully consider different perspectives in debate, and compromise when necessary
• Able to work and collaborate in Korean
