Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Vision Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision, machine learning, and image processing. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge computer vision algorithms to solve challenging real-world problems. This is not a pure research position, instead is focused heavily on iterative development for productization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for tasks such as talking avatar video and image enhancement.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the team.
  • Prototyping & Experimentation: Rapidly prototype new ideas and experiments, rigorously test hypotheses, and iterate based on results.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize and fine-tune algorithms. Enhance inference infrastructure to reduce costs and latency.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Document research findings, algorithms, and software implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in computer vision, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++. Experience with computer vision libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV, PyTorch, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques.
  • Experience with image and video processing techniques. Familiarity with software development tools and practices (Git, CI/CD, etc.).

Significant Plus:

  • Familiarity with the latest talking avatar video techniques
  • Published papers on computer vision
