Things you will do at Picky

You will be helping Picky build the next go-to influencer platform! We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of front-end and back-end developers and overseeing their work on various projects. You will be expected to provide leadership and guidance to the team, and ensure that the correct tasks are prioritized and all projects are completed on time, and to the highest standard of quality.

Your responsibilities will include

Manage a team of front-end and back-end developers, including task assignment, performance reviews, and career development.
Review code written by team members to ensure that it meets coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with other managers and stakeholders to ensure that all engineering projects align with the company's overall strategy and goals.
Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of engineering projects and team performance.
Identify areas for improvement in team processes, tools, and technology, and work with team members to implement changes.
Mentor junior engineers and help them develop their skills.

Skills we are looking for

At least 5 years of experience in engineering teams.
Experience with task management tools and software development methodologies.
Experience leading a team with both front-end and back-end developers.
Familiarity with Python, React, Flutter, and Next.js.
Experience with code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Great English communication
Keen interest to learn new technologies
Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS
Experience working with relational databases
Familiar with mobile application deployment practices
Works well in a fast-paced team environment but can work in asynchronously when required
Interest to learn more about K-beauty, and social-influencer marketing
