Job Summary

Designing and implementing storage solutions for cloud native (Kubernetes) applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud platforms.

This role requires a solid foundation in operating systems, storage, and networking technologies and the ability to drive projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement features for Block/File/and Object Storage ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Automation & Optimization: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management processes. Optimize platform performance and resource utilization.
  • Monitoring & Maintenance: Implement and manage monitoring systems to ensure the continuous availability and performance of PaaS environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to integrate seamlessly with applications and infrastructure.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, design, processes, and configurations. Provide regular reports on platform performance, security, and costs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, tools, and best practices. Proactively propose improvements.

Technical Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Compute Science or at least 5 years of proven experience
  • Design and Implementation of multi-threaded System level software in C or C++
  • Understand of LINUX operating concepts related to storage, networking, security principles, and best practices
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools
  • Excellent spoken and written proficiency in English
