About the Job
- Position: SLAM Engineer
- Location: TIE HQ (Pangyo, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea)
Responsibilities
- Design and development of SLAM algorithm for real-time location estimation and 3D mapping
- Development of multi-sensor fusion algorithm to improve the accuracy of the map
- Performance improvement and optimization of SLAM algorithm
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer engineering, electronic/communication engineering, mechanical engineering and mathematics
- Familiar with C/C++ or Python and knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Theoretical background knowledge in Computer Vision and Image Processing
- Experience in research or development related to SLAM algorithms and frameworks such as Visual SLAM, Visual Odometry, Lidar SLAM, and VO/VIO
- Experience in algorithm and code optimization to improve performance
Bonus Points
- Experience in development of multi-sensor fusion and algorithm such as Lidar, camera, GPS, IMU, etc.
- Theoretical background knowledge in computer vision or deep learning and mathematical ability to design algorithms
- Research experience on state estimation algorithms such as Kalman filter
- Experience in developing autonomous driving SLAM or robot SLAM
- Experience optimization in computation in resource-constrained environments
