About the role...
The responsibilities include end-to-end solution design, configuration, implementation, data analytics, testing and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
This position is responsible for solution delivery, analysis, and interpretation of data to assist the customer in rapid decision-making and optimizing their planning process. The solution delivery is through a variety of activities including design, data analytics, configuration, deployment and knowledge management.
The role would be responsible for participating in requirement and design sessions with the customer; analyzing areas of improvement; analyzing data to provide decision support information; preparing business impact case study; working with onshore and offshore teams to configure the solution and finally creating the test-cases to ensure the solution works as per the design.
What you’ll do for us…
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry best practices, business processes, o9 platform, and value proposition of the planning transformation to anchor the project from design to delivery, for customers across industries and geographies
- Lead the blueprinting workshops by prescribing o9s point of view and understanding the customer’s requirements
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, configuration leads and product experts to create and document business requirements as well as detail the functional design
- Support the technical team in identifying and documenting the data required to enable the designed business processes (from various sources such as ERP systems, PLM systems, databases, excel sheets, emails, and others). Devise the strategy to create, maintain and predict the missing data elements.
- Support Project Managers in mapping user stories to sprints, detailing the project timelines, risks and getting timely customer sign-offs
- Work with the build team to configure the solution for solving client’s planning use cases
- Collaborate with the internal cross functional teams to resolve issues and validate resolutions for a successful project delivery
- Manage the build activity in terms of scope, deliverable validation, client demonstration and acceptance of the user stories
- Plan, develop and deliver Super User and End User training, for the core user base.
- Travel- 30-50% based on client requirements
What you’ll have…
Experience:
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Demand Planning, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Assortment Planning, Merchandize Planning, Order Fulfillment, Replenishment Planning, Production Planning etc.
- Prior (direct or indirect) experience in running digital planning transformation programs and/or full lifecycle implementations from design to value realization
- Experience presenting on complex topics in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner
- Experience using agile methodology to deliver large scale enterprise implementations is preferred
- Experience in statistics, machine learning, heuristic or linear optimization
Skills & Characteristics:
- Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both technology and domain.
- Ability to identify key insights and critical thinking to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is preferred
- Strong verbal, written, presentation and demonstration / training skills are required
- High empathy for customer’s business problems
- Ability to work in teams, distributed across locations and time zones
- Patient listener with the ability to clearly articulate her view point, to manage and deliver to customer expectation.
Education:
- Typically the people in this role have had degrees in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or unrelated fields with a concentration in operations, analytics, statistics with 8+ years of relevant experience, but we encourage you to apply if you feel you have the required skills and experience.
