Your Role

As a Backend Developer at SpaceVision, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend infrastructure that powers our AI-driven customer analytics platform. Your work will directly impact how businesses understand and engage with their customers in physical spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Develop systems for collecting, processing, and transmitting AI-analyzed customer behavior data from edge devices (Ubuntu-based AI cameras) to cloud servers.
Optimize data transmission efficiency between edge devices and servers to ensure low-latency, high-accuracy AI processing.
Build and manage real-time data pipelines (ETL) and log processing to handle large-scale audience interaction data.
Develop API integrations that connect SpaceVision’s AI solutions with partner ecosystems, enabling seamless collaboration.
Design and maintain server infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Contribute to CMS (Content Management System) development for AI-powered dynamic ad delivery and real-time audience analysis.
Monitor and optimize backend system performance to handle traffic from diverse geographic regions, ensuring stable operation across multiple countries and time zones.

Who We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in backend development and the ability to lead service architecture design.
Professional expertise in Python and TypeScript.
Experience with NestJS or a solid understanding of DI (Dependency Injection) and AOP (Aspect-Oriented Programming) principles.
Experience managing AWS-based infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
Comprehensive knowledge of Linux environments (Ubuntu) and scripting with Bash or Python shell.
Experience handling large-scale log data and building efficient data pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub workflows in collaborative development environments.
Ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with AI researchers, frontend engineers, and business teams.

Bonus Points

Experience in Machine Learning or working on AI-driven projects.
Previous work in B2B API development or Open API integrations.
Skills in data analytics and visualization.
Familiarity with startup culture and experience working in fast-growing environments.
