ether.fi (https://www.ether.fi/) is looking to hire a Cryptography/Blockchain Research Engineer to join our fast growing business. ether.fi builds the liquid re-staked token, eETH, which is built on top of our non-custodial delegated staking protocol for Ethereum. The eETH TVL hit $ 350M and is fast growing and have various DeFi integrations live!
The ideal candidate would have capabilities in developing zero-knowledge proof systems, re-staking primitives, and writing the Solidity smart contract code. The candidate will drive diverse researches in the cryptography techniques and collaborate with the team to productionize it.
Requirements
- A strong understanding on the blockchain system and cryptography including the zero-knowledge proofs and roll-ups
- A background in implementing applied cryptographic primitives (zero-knowledge proofs, elliptic curve cryptography, vector commitments, etc)
- A background in writing smart contract code with a strong understanding on its security risks
- A practical understandings on the EigenLayer’s restaking primitives
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Independent motivation and an interest in being part of a team building innovative products
- Plus, if you can do fast-prototyping in Rust/Python
- Interest in DeFi or a background in finance/Fintech
Responsibilities
- Conduct pro-active researches on the topics aligned with the company’s long-term direction (Delegated Staking in Ethereum, Zero-knowledge proofs, Roll-ups, Restaking, …, etc)
- Offer technical support for our blockchain products and services
- Develop, asses, and audit the smart contracts with rigorous testing
- Get things done
