Senior Application Architect

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design of application architecture for custom development and integration projects.
• Define and implement best practices for application layer components, including controller logic, business services, data access layers, and APIs.
• Make architectural decisions on application frameworks, middleware, and communication protocols.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership during development, integration, and deployment phases.
• Define coding standards, review code artifacts, and lead troubleshooting sessions when needed.
• Guide the integration of cloud-native services, on-prem legacy systems, and 3rd party solutions.
• Contribute to solutioning and architecture review activities during pre-sales and proposal development.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise application development and architecture.
• Deep understanding of application design principles (layered architecture, separation of concerns, modularity).
• Proven experience with backend development using Java, Spring Boot, or equivalent technologies.
• Hands-on experience designing RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing, and service orchestration.
• Familiarity with common enterprise integration patterns and middleware
• Practical knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor development teams.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience in large-scale digital transformation or legacy system re-architecture.
• Knowledge of container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift) and service mesh technologies.
• Exposure to clean architecture, or reactive architecture patterns.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and application-level security concerns.
• Familiarity with frontend architecture (e.g., React, Vue.js) and its interaction with backend systems is a plus.
