Roles and Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing user interfaces using Angular best practices.
  • Adapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies.
  • Writing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML and making complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, services, and modules.
  • Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
  • Ensuring a clear dependency chain both for app logic as well as for the file system.
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
  • Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback.
  • Writing non-blocking code using advanced techniques such as multi-threading, JavaScript promises, and RxJs observables.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 1+ years Experience with Angular.
  • Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
  • Experience with JavaScript and knowledge of its quirks and workarounds.
  • Proficient understanding of Git.
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
  • Experience with NgRx and RxJs libraries.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English.

Extra

  • Experience documenting the code inline using JSDoc or other conventions.
  • Experience writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks.
  • Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS, etc.
  • Knowledge of architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners or scripts.
  • Experience creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments.
