proteanTecs is looking for a Field Software & DevOps Engineer ,a hybrid role combining backend development, DevOps, and hands-on integration support to join the ride as we spearhead the next revolution in electronics!

Responsibilities

Deploy and upgrade software versions at the customer site
Investigate, debug, and resolve production issues
Fix bugs and contribute improvements to backend services written in Java and/or Python
Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Build and manage containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code with tools like Terraform or Ansible
Monitor system performance using Prometheus and Grafana
Collaborate closely with internal R&D, DevOps, and Architecture teams
Write technical documentation, implementation guides, and internal best practices

Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering and/or DevOps roles
Strong development skills in Java and/or Python
Proven experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
Experience with Linux-based systems
Proficiency with Git-based version control
Monitoring experience with Prometheus and Grafana
Fluent English (spoken and written) and excellent communication skills
Full professional proficiency Korean
Availability to work on-site at least 3 days per week

Nice to have

Experience with Spring Boot, Flink, or RabbitMQ
Familiarity with distributed systems or high-performance computing environments
Background in semiconductors, embedded systems, or hardware/software integration
Experience working with global R&D teams across time zones
