Dev Korea #3 with PostHog

PostHog is coming to Seoul! We'll have great conversations, friendly faces, and a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for connecting and unwinding. Can't wait to see you there!

Don't worry about perfect English! We welcome everyone, and many attendees speak Korean too. Come as you are—let's learn and connect together! 🇰🇷

Schedule: - 6:40pm - 7:10pm: Check-in - 7:10pm - 7:20pm: Introduction - 7:20pm - 8:00pm: Melvin Oostendorp - From event to insight: Developer‑first analytics with PostHog - 8:00pm - 8:20pm: Max Wiersma - Using PostHog to prioritize and understand user needs - 8:20pm - 8:30pm: Community updates + Conclusion - 8:30pm - 9:30pm: Networking + Closing

From event to insight: Developer‑first analytics with PostHog: In this session, we will explore how developers can use product analytics to enhance user experiences and make better product decisions. We will focus on key concepts such as event tracking, session replays, and feature flags using PostHog. You will learn how to monitor user behavior, identify performance problems, and obtain useful insights with PostHog’s platform. By the end, you will have the knowledge to use data to build more effective features, reduce risk, and improve your product development process.

Using PostHog to prioritize and understand user needs: Building a mobile app means you can't just A/B test with a quick deploy—every change goes through app review. Learn how Easy6, a Korean language exam prep app built in React Native, leverages PostHog's full suite of features to make product decisions across iOS and Android. We'll demonstrate our type-safe analytics architecture using TypeScript interfaces for 40+ custom events, from onboarding flows to premium conversions. See how we use A/B experiments to optimize through hypothesis testing and integrate with RevenueCat to gain insight into ARPU metrics. We'll share real examples of how PostHog dashboards help us answer questions like "Are users getting stuck?", "Which features are being underused?" and "How much should we invest in tablet UI design?".
