We are looking for the first member to help open the door to the Japanese market together!
日本市場の扉を共に開く最初のメンバーを募集します!

Packative is building a B2B SaaS platform to innovate the traditional packaging manufacturing industry. After validating our business model in the Korean market, we are now preparing for a soft launch (initial entry) into the Japanese market, based on strategic partnerships with leading Japanese companies.

This position focuses on structured project coordination (project execution management). You will act as a communication hub between the internal team and Japanese partners, organizing information, documentation, schedules, and follow-ups in a systematic way so that projects run smoothly and reliably.

You will collaborate closely with the CEO and the Product and DX teams, and help lead cross-border projects in a fast-moving startup environment with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily project execution and operations between Packative and Japanese partners (stakeholders)
  • Organize and track team communications, documentation, issues, and follow-up actions (action items)
  • Support localization efforts for entering the Japanese market (services, materials, guides, etc.)
  • Assist with roadmap and milestone-based scheduling and progress management
  • Collect, structure, and organize information coming from partners and internal teams
  • Identify potential schedule delays or risk factors early, share them in advance, and encourage proactive responses
  • Support the documentation of operational guides, documents, and workflows to maintain structured processes

Qualifications

  • Native Japanese speaker with the ability to communicate in Korean or English in a professional environment
  • Ability to travel to Japan for business
  • Ownership mindset: able to make decisions and execute independently in uncertain environments
  • Strong reliability in consistently completing committed tasks
  • Clear and structured communication skills for working with multicultural and multinational stakeholders
  • Ability to align stakeholders across different companies, departments, and time zones
  • Execution-driven and results-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Startup mindset — experience working in a startup environment preferred; comfortable with uncertainty and speed, and capable of building structure where none exists
  • Proactive ownership — acts independently without waiting for permission, solves obstacles, and completes tasks
  • Extreme clarity — communicates quickly, systematically, and clearly; documents, slides, and spreadsheets are well organized and easy to understand
  • Results-driven execution — success is measured by outcomes rather than effort; able to structure complexity and create impact
  • AI-first problem solving — believes AI is a tool to innovate traditional industries and uses it as a first choice rather than a last resort
  • Independent thinking — able to navigate ambiguity and move forward without needing constant guidance
  • Persistence and execution power — persuades stakeholders, finds solutions, and ensures work is completed
  • Flexibility and adaptability — able to manage across borders, time zones, and industries without losing speed or focus
