Methodology
The survey ran from June 15 to July 29, 2026, in English and Korean. It was distributed through the Dev Korea newsletter, Discord, LinkedIn, X and Instagram, and shown at Dev Korea events. 166 responses were collected, all fully anonymous. Percentages use the number of people who answered each question as the denominator, so n varies by question. Answers given by fewer than three people on open questions are grouped as "Other". Data last processed on 2026-08-01.
Cross-tab blocks split one question by another. A group is only published when at least 8 people answered the question being measured; smaller groups are dropped rather than lumped together, and each block says how many it dropped. On those charts a median sits on the answer ladder, so its position is a rank among the offered answers rather than a point on a linear axis.

Every number in this report comes from one aggregated, anonymous dataset. Take it and check our work, or ask an assistant to dig through it with you.

Quote these figures, chart them, write them up, build a product on them, including commercially. Published under CC BY 4.0, which asks one thing in return: name the survey and link back, so your readers can check the numbers themselves.
