We are looking for an Associate Software Quality Engineer for EA Korea located in Seoul. You will work with our teams to develop quality control tools, test automation and CI systems for products. A critical partner of game development teams, Quality Engineering is driving innovation in tools to achieve the highest quality standards. In partnership with software engineers and QA, and using multiple programming and scripting languages, they develop, and maintain CI system, automation test tools, and other tools that help to lead quality in our products.

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer for EA Korea located in Seoul. You will have solid knowledge in test automation and you will Improve the efficiency of existing automation tools. Also, we require technical support from Quality Verification point of view to FC Online and FC Mobile project partners. You will report to our Development Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • Offer technical support from Quality Verification point of view for FC Online and FC Mobile developed in Korea and China.
  • Develop and integrate CI/CD based on test automation tools and development process
  • Collect and analyze requirements from the game development and QAs team and implement technical solutions based on those requirements.
  • Improve the efficiency of existing automation tools
  • Analyze architecture and do non-functional requirement verification for MSA-based game servers/backends that can accommodate millions of users
  • Develop and maintain MSA-based applications/services in On-Premise and Cloud environments
  • Development and support functional/non-functional testing tools across the whole development life cycle
  • Collaborate with QE teams in other regions to integrate new technologies and tools.
  • Design and develop reliable, scalable tools and services.
  • Develop reusable code, tools, and processes in line with our quality strategy

Qualifications

  • Major in Computer Science or experience in a comparable IT field
  • Ability to use at least one programming language such as C/C++, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Scala
  • Basic knowledge of databases, data structures, algorithms
  • Ability to read/write technical documents in English
